Co-Curricular Activities

Co-curricular activities form an important part of the school curriculum. Besides regular LCA class wise meetings, cultural competitions are arranged periodically. The school level youth festival is held in July. Our students take part in the inter-school youth festivals organized by the Central Kerala Sahodhaya Complex. Religious and National festivals are celebrated with cultural programmes.

 

Special coaching is given in music, dance and drawing, Karate, Sakting, glass painting, Yoga and various other disciplines under the guidance of qualified teachers.

The House System

The students are divided into four houses. Each has its captain and vice captain. The School activities are conducted and the guidance of the house advisors assisted by the captain and vice captains of different houses.

Sports

There are different activities undertaken by Physical Education department which includes

  • Mass PT
  • Minor Games
  • Major Games like Football, Badminton, Cricket, Caroms and Chess.

We ensure regular participation in several cluster, Sahodhaya and District level Competitions.

Martial arts form- Karate considered essential now a days, not only for personal safety but as an art.

Yoga

Yoga contributes to not merely the physical development of the child but has a positive impact on psychosocial and mental development as well.

Skating

Roller Skating is equivalent to jogging in terms of health benefits and Caloric consumption, reduction of body fat and leg strength development.

Art education not only …………………….artistic talent in a child but also aids in the development of self esteem, self discipline and self-motivation.
